My personal director's statement: “A Thinness is a coming of age, drama short film exploring fraying family bonds from the perspective of children, focusing on their capacity for delusion as a means of escapism. This film was made with the intention of giving shape to intergenerational trauma and how it can fester beneath a guise of childish naivety.”
